State govt to roll out new employment policy for educated, trained youth

In breaking news from Uttarakhand, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced that the State government is all set to roll out a new employment policy to cater to the job needs of the educated and trained youth of the State.  “We will discuss the matter in detail soon,” he said while addressing the media persons at an employment fair involving some selected students with technical education in Dehradun. He handed over appointment letters to 272 candidates who were students of polytechnic colleges and selected by several companies during campus placement drives.

The CM said that under the competent guidance of the Prime Minister, about one lakh job opportunities would be created in the next year. He stressed on more and more students from the State being selected for jobs by companies during campus placement drives. “Our government will continue to encourage this process,” he said, adding that this is the principal objective behind churning out the new employment policy of the State.
