2-day State Judo Championship concludes

250 players from several districts participated

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the two-day State Judo Championship organised by the Judo Association of Uttarakhand at the multipurpose sporting hall at Nalapani Dehradun concluded with Aradhya Saini among the girl participants and Aarav Arya among the boy participants being felicitated with the Best Judo Awards. About 250 Judo enthusiasts from Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Pauri, Tehri, Haridwar and Dehradun districts showcased their talent in the event.  The winners’ names in mini group, sub-junior group, cadet and junior group were announced and they were felicitated with medals and certificates. Among the dignitaries present was the State sports director Jitendra Kumar Sonkar.

The list of winners in different categories under the boys’ mini group included Ayaan Arya, Adhant Raj, Aarav Rawat and Tanmay Mehra. Baibhav Pal, Karan Arya and Chandrasekhar were among the winners of different categories under the sub-junior boys’ group. Aradhya Saini, Ayushi, Gayatri Bisht and Divya were among the girls who won titles in the event.
