In latest news from Uttarakhand, 22 passengers were injured as a bus going to Chaubattakhal from Satpuli had a head-on collision with another bus speeding from the opposite direction. On being informed of the accident, a team from Satpuli police station accompanied by a State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team rushed to the spot and transported the injured swiftly to hospital. The hospital sources said that injuries suffered by the passengers were not serious. Sharing details, the Satpuli police station in-charge Deepak Tiwari said that two buses had collided on Satpuli-Ekeshwar Road in the morning in which 22 passengers sustained minor injuries. He further informed that those among the injured whose injuries were minor were discharged from the hospital they had been admitted to following primary treatment.
