Uttarakhand BJP has termed the tenure of two years of Pushkar Singh Dhami government in the State as historic and the one replete with bold decisions taken in public interest.
The president of State BJP Mahendra Bhatt said that the pace of development has increased in the last two years. Interacting with the media persons at the office of the party on Tuesday, he said that the decisions of CM Dhami are being appreciated in the entire country and many States are planning to follow the steps being taken in Uttarakhand. He said that the State is on a path of development due to the different schemes undertaken by the Dhami government for different sections of the society. Bhatt said that the Dhami government brought the most stringent anti-copying act in the country which helped in uprooting the recruitment mafia from the State. The CM remained firm on his decision despite stiff opposition on the issue. The BJP government also fulfilled its promise to empower women by providing 30 per cent reservations to women of the State in jobs.
The State BJP president said that the anti conversion law implemented by CM Dhami proved to be a brave and historic decision and it failed the designs of those trying to change the demography of Uttarakhand. A campaign is being undertaken against illegal religious encroachment and Love Jihad in the State. Bhatt said that the expert committee on Uniform Civil Code (UCC) has prepared the draft of the law after a year old exercise. The effort of the State for implementing UCC is being appreciated in the entire country and the draft of the State would act as template for other States for a similar law there.
The BJP president said that the Dhami government is fulfilling all the promises made to the people and expressed hope that that Uttarakhand under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Dhami would become a leading State of the country by the year 2025.
