Muni Ki Reti municipality planted 350 saplings of several varieties of plants on the occasion of Harela on Monday.
These saplings included varieties of plants like Neem, Tecoma and Golden Bottle Brush, which is considered an effective mosquito repellent, were planted in various locations of the town, said the officials.
The municipality president Roshan Raturi participated in the plantation drive along with some non-governmental organisations.
