The vice president of Uttarakhand Congress Surya Kant Dhasmana has accused the State administration of hiding data of dengue patients. He said that the prevalence of dengue is increasing in Dehradun and every fourth person is affected by the disease. He said that wards in government and private hospitals are full with dengue patients and there is a major shortage of platelets in the blood banks of Dehradun. Dhasmana said that it is surprising that the health minister of the State has given a statement that the situation is in control and there are only 350 patients of dengue in the state capital. He said that the government should come out of its slumber and warned that things can go out of control like it happened in the year 2019.
