Two natives of U’khand return home from Israel under Operation Ajay

Amid escalation of hostilities in the Middle East and strikes launched by Israel in retaliation to attacks by Hamas terrorists the Indian government has launched operation Ajay for the safe returns of the Indian nationals stuck in the war affected country. On Friday a special plane landed in New Delhi in which the Indian nationals stranded in Israel returned home. Two natives of Uttarakhand, Arti Joshi and Ayush Mehra were also in the flight and they were received by the representative of Uttarakhand government at the airport. From the airport both Joshi and Mehra left for Dehradun and they expressed gratitude to the government for their homecoming.

 The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed the administration to make arrangements for the return of the people of Uttarakhand stranded in Israel. The state administration is receiving the returnees at the airport, making arrangements for their stay in Uttarakhand Sadan in New Delhi and the return to their homes by the buses of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. It is estimated that about 18,000 Indians are there in Israel and the government of India is making arrangements for their safe return under the operation Ajay.
