Various religious programmes will be held to mark the foundation day of Shri Ma Nayana Devi Mandir on June 15. Shri Maa Nayana Devi MandirAmar Uday Trust is now busy with preparations for the appropriate celebration of the day. The nine-day Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Katha will commence from June 7 to be led by Pandit Manoj Krishna Joshi Uttarakhandi.
The trust members informed that Panch Dev puja and Devi puja would be held from June 7 to 15 daily from 8 am to be followed by katha from 3 pm to 8 pm. Aarti and prasad distribution will start at 8 pm. A special event of Sunderkand will be held by the Trust on June 11 from 1 pm to 3 pm. Likewise, on the special occasion of Foundation Day on June 15, after the worship of Shri Maa Nayana Devi in Brahma Muhurta, there will be Kul Puja along with Dev Puja from 7 am, Havan and Purnahuti from 11 am to 12 am. The discourse will take place from 12 noon to 1 pm during which religious rituals like Vyas Puja, Pustak Puja, Kanya Puja and Brahmin Puja will take place. While there will be a Mahabhandara from 1 pm a special event of Bhajan Sandhya will be held from 5 to 7 pm.
