CM thanks State’s voters for electoral win

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed gratitude to the people of Uttarakhand for the victory of BJP candidates in all the five Lok Sabha seats. He said that the positive mandate is the result of hard work of the party workers. Addressing the party workers at the State office of the BJP on Tuesday, the CM said that the people of the State have given their mandate for the development of the State and for the public welfare schemes initiated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Terming the day as historic the CM said that the people have given majority to BJP and NDA in the Lok Sabha elections for forming the government. The CM also congratulated the BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt for the victory. He said that the party coasted to victory in the State under the leadership of Bhatt. The CM said that PM Modi has a special affinity towards Uttarakhand and Devbhoomi is in his heart. Under his leadership schemes worth Rs two lakh crore were approved for the State. Dhami said that the work on the Dehradun- Delhi elevated road will soon be completed. Work on Rishikesh- Karnprayag rail line is in its last phase and the dream of rail in the mountains of Uttarakhand will soon get fulfilled. Dhami said that the work on Tanakpur- Bageshwar rail line is going at a fast pace. The CM said that lakhs of pilgrims are undertaking Char Dham Yatra. Thousands of pilgrims are on the Yatra of Kainchi Dham which is part of the Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission. The Yatra of Adi Kailash by PM Modi has drawn the attention of the people to the area.
Dhami said that the State government has implemented the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the State and works like enactment of anti riot law and new investment were done during the government of double engine.
