1 dies, 14 injured in accident of U’khand roadways bus in UP

A conductor died and 14 sustained injuries after a head-on collision between Uttarakhand Roadways bus and a tractor trolley near Bilaspur on Nainital Rampur Highway in Uttar Pradesh late on Tuesday. All injured people including the driver were admitted to hospitals in Rampur and Bareilly for treatment, the officials said. The condition of five passengers was critical. According to them, most of the passengers belonged to Uttarakhand. The bus left from the Haldwani roadways depot for Delhi on Tuesday at 9:30 PM. Around 11:30 PM, it collided head on with a tractor trolley near Bilaspur on Nainital Rampur Highway. The collision was so severe that the front part of the bus was damaged completely. The conductor Manish Mishra died in the accident at the spot. The officials said that an officer from the Haldwani Roadways left for the spot after getting information about the accident. They informed that the authorities have been informing the families of the injured since early on Wednesday. The police have started the inquiry into the matter but they are yet to ascertain the cause of the accident.
