The vice president of the Rural Heath and Monitoring council Suresh Bhatt reviewed the health programmes and projects operational under the National Health Mission (NHM) in Dehradun on Saturday. In the meeting he directed the officers to ensure that the benefit of the NHM programmes reach to the person standing last on the social ladder.
Bhatt said that the information about Ayushman card and the packages and panelled hospitals available should be disseminated. He said that the doctors should prescribe the medicines available in Jan Aushadhi Kendras.
The chief medical officer (CMO) Dehradun, Dr Sanjay Jain and additional CMO, NHM Dr Nidhi Rawat informed Bhatt about the progress of the health programmes.
