In latest news from Uttarakhand, Kumaun University‘s DSB Campus organised a badminton (women/men) tournament. The dean student welfare of the campus, Prof Sanjay Pant inaugurated the tourney and introduced the players. The director of the directorate of the visiting professors Prof Lalit Tiwari was present as the special guest.
In the men’s category, the 3rd semester student BPES Pradeep clinched the first place while the BA 5th semester student Harsh Vardhan secured the second place. In the women’s category, the 3rd semester student BPES Aastha clinched the first place while the 5th semester BPES Suparna Dutta secured the second place.
The KU sources said that the players who have secured the first and second places would be awarded on the upcoming National Sports Day.
