PM Modi’s policies inspired by teachings of Bhagwad Gita: Dhami

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the life of Lord Krishna is an inspiration for everyone and the festival of Janmashtami gives a message of walking on the path of truth.
The CM participated in the closing ceremony of Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav-2024 in Gangolihat, Pithoragarh on Monday.
The CM said that based on the teachings of Bhagwad Gita, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the mantra of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas and sabka prayas’. The policies initiated by the PM reflect the sentiment that there should be no discrimination in the development works and welfare schemes.
Dhami averred that a cultural revival work is underway in the country under the leadership of the PM Modi. The border areas are also being developed and efforts are being made to bring India back to its ultimate glory. The CM said that under the leadership of PM Modi, article 370 which promoted separatism in Jammu and Kashmir, has been abolished.
Earlier in the day the CM offered prayers to Maa Mahakali at Sidhpeeth Hatkalika temple. He planted sapling of Rudraksha in temple premises under ‘One tree in the name of mother’ campaign.
The CM made several announcements related to the development of the area on the occasion.
Dhami said that the State government is committed to the all-round development of the state. He said that today the women power of the state is moving forward in every field and becoming self-reliant. The women associated with self-help groups are making world-class products, he said. He said that 30 per cent reservation to women is being provided in government jobs and 70 lakh people have been given assistance under the Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana. Under the Ayushman scheme, 60 lakh Ayushman cards have been made in the state till date and 4.5 lakh cooking gas cylinders have been distributed under the Ujjwala scheme. Dhami said that the renovation of Haat Kalika temple is being done under the Manskhand Mandir Mala Mission.
He said that in the last three years, more than 16000 youths have been given appointments in government departments in the state. Dhami said that to ensure that the recruitment process is conducted in a transparent manner a strict anti-copying law has been implemented in the state.
Local MLA Fakir Ram Tamta, district Panchayat president Deepika Bohra, BJP district president Girish Joshi and others attended the programme.
