The directorate of Visiting Professors and Innovation and Incubation Cell of Kumaun University organised a camp in the Physics department auditorium of the DSB campus of the university in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Earlier, the workshop was jointly inaugurated by the campus director Prof Neeta Bora Sharma and the dean, University Student Welfare (DSW) Prof Sanjay Pant.
Prof Sharma stressed on sustainable development based on conservation of nature while Prof Pant said that the enlightened youth, aware of their duty, could give a new direction to the country and the world.
The guests were presented on the occasion with cypress plant and copy of Devesh Gupta’s book ‘Eternal Movement.’
