In latest news from Uttarakhand, the secretary in-charge of transport and mining Brijesh Kumar Sant directed the officers of all the departments to complete the projects they are tasked with by the stipulated timeline without compromising on quality. He further said that they must ensure that the benefits of the all the welfare schemes rolled out by the Centre and the State government reach the eligible.
During the review of Lakhpati Didi Yojana, he directed the officers to see to it that maximum number of women derive benefits from the welfare scheme.
