Conference on spiritual neurosciences hosted by SRHU University concludes

The two-day national conference on Spiritual Neurosciences, organised by the department of Neurology of Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Swami Rama Himalayan University, concluded. It brought together experts to explore the connections between spirituality and neuroscience. The scientific session on ‘Occult Sciences’ followed, featuring an expert panel comprising the professor of Surgery at SGRR University, R K Verma and a few professors at SRHU, including Sanjeev Kumar Pandey and Avinash P Ranjan. The keynote presentation was delivered by the head of the department of Neurology at AIIMS New Delhi Professor Manjari Tripathi. She discussed the integration of Yoga Nidra with cognitive behavioural therapy, highlighting its effectiveness in promoting restorative sleep and improving deep sleep for individuals with chronic sleep disorders.
The second topic, ‘Perspectives on Hypnosis in Current Medical Practice,’ was presented by SRHU professor R M Kaushik.
