In latest news from Uttarakhand, the spiritual mentor of Rishikesh-based Parmarth Niketan Swami Chidananda Saraswati pitched strongly for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi being bestowed with the Nobel Peace Prize this year for his robust contribution in restoration of peace in the war-torn parts of the world. Lauding the PM as an embodiment of selfless service, the ascetic said that his heart was as wide as the world, epitomising the summit of the Knowledge India represents.
Notably, Sir Alfred Nobel had signed his final testament at a club in Paris on November 29, 1895, giving away the residue of his property to present prizes to the outstanding individuals who contribute immensely to the cause of humanity.
