In a relief to the consumers, the State administration has extended the date of exemption from surcharge on payment of pending bills of water and sewer in the State. The decision of the administration follows an announcement made by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in this regard.
The consumers will now get 100 per cent waiver of penalty on one time payment of all pending dues till March 31, 2025. The CM had announced in November that the relief will be granted on payment of pending dues of water and sewer bills till December 31. On the fresh orders of the CM the date has now been extended till March 31, 2025.
