Kotwali police arrested a woman on the charge of unintentionally murdering her father-in-law at their residence at Gajna in Uttarkashi. The arrest followed the complaint lodged by the deceased’s eldest son Mukesh Aswal. As per the complaint, his younger brother Tejpal Singh’s wife Vimla Devi (32) had hit his father Hukam Singh Aswal (62) with a stick on Tuesday evening while quarrelling with him due to which his father had died.
Kotwali Uttarkashi police said that its team under the close supervision of the deputy superintendent of police Uttarkashi had arrested the accused within four hours of the registration of the complaint.
