Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the coming budget session of the Assembly will be held in Gairsain. The roadmap for the state’s development will be prepared in this important session. Stating this, the chief minister once again appealed to the prominent citizens, youths and women to give their suggestions for the budget. He said that of the suggestions received now, the important suggestions will be considered while preparing the budget. All segments of society will be taken care of in the budget, said the chief minister.
It is pertinent to mention here that the state has sought suggestions of the citizens for the 2021-22 budget till January 20. The suggestions can be submitted on the website http://budget.uk.gov.in/feedback and through the mobile app Uttarakhand Budget which can be downloaded from Google Playstore.
The chief minister said that efforts are being made to develop Gairsain in a way which makes the summer capital of the state beautiful and attractive. He said, “When the Vidhan Sabha session is held in Gairsain, the problems faced in remote areas also come to the fore. The residents of remote areas who are seldom able to travel to Dehradun get a chance to put forth their issues in Gairsain. This also helps to bring forward the ground reality,” said Rawat.
