Cong forced the BJP to change CM in U’khand- Yadav
Says BJP govt has failed to fulfil the aspiration of the people of the state
The in-charge of Uttarakhand Congress, Bhupendra Yadav has said that the protests of the Congress party forced the central leadership of the BJP to change the chief minister in Uttarakhand. Addressing the media persons here on Thursday, Yadav said that the BJP has made a desperate attempt to change the narrative that has been set against it by changing the CM but it would not succeed. He said that the people of the state have understood the game of the BJP and they are determined to throw the party out of power in the state. Launching an attack on the BJP government, Yadav said that it has failed miserably in fulfilling the aspiration of the people. He said that the Congress party has provided a platform to the voice of the people in the Vidhan Sabha and outside it and would continue doing so. Claiming that the BJP has lost the confidence of the people, he said that the Congress is poised to form the government in the state. He said that the ‘zero tolerance on corruption’ rhetoric of the BJP government has been exposed and the order of Uttarakhand High Court (HC) for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry against CM proves it. He said that the farmers of the state are feeling cheated by the government. The unemployment is at 26 percent and the state is on the top in the country in this regard at all time high in the state. Yadav said that the general public is reeling under unprecedented price rice.
Earlier on the day, many leaders and workers joined the Congress party in presence of Yadav, Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Pritam Singh and former chief minister Harish Rawat.
