75 Oxygen concentrators presented to State govt

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) and Sewa International organisation presented 50 and 25 oxygen concentrators respectively to the state government on Sunday. These will be used in those hospitals of the state where there is a shortage of the same.
Chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat expressed gratitude to the two organisations. He said that some of these oxygen concentrators will also be sent to the hospitals in the mountainous regions of Garhwal and Kumaon. The chief minister said, “We are using all our resources in the war against Covid-19. There will be no paucity of funds in these efforts. We are also receiving the full support of various organisations, institutions and industries. We are in a war against Covid which can be won only with the cooperation of all and integrated efforts by all,” said Rawat.
The chief minister further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central government are providing full support to the state in the efforts to tackle the pandemic. The government of India is fulfilling every requirement related to Covid in the state. The war against Covid will certainly be won under the PM’s leadership, said Rawat. The director general of health, Dr Tripti Bahuguna, UPES vice chancellor Sunil Rai, registrar Veena Dutta along with Ashok Verma and Shashank Negi from Sewa International were also present on the occasion.
