Complete the process of DPC to fill vacant posts of officers within two weeks- Dhan Singh
The health minister Dhan Singh Rawat handed the appointment letters to 22 candidates in the health department on the occasion of Harela on Friday. These appointments have been made on compassionate grounds. The minister attended a programme organised at the office of Director General (DG) state health services here on Friday. Rawat also directed that all the vacant posts of officers in the department should be filled within two weeks. He said that the Departmental Promotion Committees (DPC) should get completed within this period. In view of the fear expressed by the experts on the probable third wave of the disease, the minister directed the officers to increase the pace of the activities and take necessary measures to prevent spread of the disease.
He planted a sapling of Rudraksh tree in the campus on the occasion of Harela. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Harela is associated with the culture of Uttarakhand and it gives a message of protection of the environment. Rawat exhorted the people to come forward in the mission of saving the environment. He said that the employees of the health department did commendable work during the pandemic. The minister announced that officers and employees of the department would be felicitated by the government. The director general of state health services Dr Tripti Bahuguna, director of National Health Mission (NHM) Dr Saroj Naithani, additional director Dr S K Gupta, IEC state coordinator J C Pandey and others attended the programme.
