The state health department reported only 14 new cases of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) and 30 recoveries from the disease on Saturday. Death of one patient from the disease was reported on the day. The cumulative count of Covid-19 patients in the state is now at 3,43,084 while a total of 3,29,251 patients have recovered from the disease so far. In the state, 7387 people have lost their lives to Covid -19 till date. The recovery percentage from the disease is at 95.97 while the sample positivity rate on Saturday was 0.07 per cent.
One patient of the disease was reported at HNB base hospital Srinagar on Saturday.
The state health department reported eight new patients of Covid -19 from Dehradun, two each from Nainital and Pauri and one each from Haridwar and Uttarkashi district on Saturday. No new cases of the disease were reported from the remaining eight districts on the day.
The state now has 393 active cases of Covid-19. Dehradun with 156 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Pauri has 63 active cases. Tehri district is at the bottom of the table with only one active case of the disease. In the ongoing vaccination drive 77,518 people were vaccinated in 1,048 sessions in the state held on Saturday.
