The Pauri district hospital medical superintendent Dr PK Jain suspended five employees of the hospital for negligence during their time of duty.
This action was taken by the medical superintendent of the hospital on the basis of a video which had gone viral on social media.
The video showed these five employees dancing to the tune of a song during their duty time. The medical superindent Dr Jain suspended these employees for five days and warned employees that negligence on duty will not be tolerated in the future.
The district hospital in district headquarter Pauri is being managed under the Public Private Partnership mode by Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dehradun. The locals alleged that this is the second case of negligence within the duration of one week.
