Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Badrinath shrine on Thursday morning where he offered special prayers for the prosperity and well being of the people of Uttarakhand and country.
The Rawal of Badrinath Ishvari Prasad Namboodari and Dharmadhikari Bhuwan Chandra Uniyal solemnised the prayers of the CM. Dhami interacted with the pilgrims in Badrinath and inquired about the arrangements of Char Dham Yatra from them.
Interacting with the media persons, the CM said that work under the master plan of Badrinath shrine is going on as per the wish of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that it is one of the dream projects of PM Modi. The CM informed that the state has received a sum of Rs 250 Crore for the Badrinath master plan. In his visit the CM inspected the works under the project and directed the officers to expedite the works.
