Indian mathematician Neena Gupta won the ‘2021 DST-ISTP-IMU Ramanujan Prize for Young Mathematicians from developing countries’ for her exceptional work in affine algebraic geometry and commutative algebra. Professor Gupta is the third woman to receive the Ramanujan Prize which was first awarded in the year 2005.
