A fresher’s party was organised in JB Institute of Technology (JBIT) on Friday. It was inaugurated by chief guest Dr. RP Gupta, Registrar of Uttarakhand Technical University, JBIT Group Chairperson Hemlata Singhal by jointly lighting the lamp. The chief guest congratulated the students for joining the institute and said that their goals will be accomplished with their hard work and dedication. A cultural program was organised by the second-year students to welcome the new students. Mr. and Miss fresher competition was also organised in which many students participated. The jury chose Richa Sharma (B. Pharma) for Miss Fresher and Sumit Kumar (B.Sc Agriculture) was chosen as Mr. Fresher. Anukriti Singh (Btech in Computer Science) was awarded the title of Miss Popular and Vineet Tiwari (BBA) was awarded the title of Mr. Popular. The program was conducted by second-year students- Sankalp Kumar, Tushar Kumar, Ananya Parashar, and Janhvi Srivastava. The program ended with Sandeep Singhal, Vice-Chairman of JBIT Group, and Sandhya Singhal presenting shawls and mementos to the chief guest and thanking him for giving his time to the students. On this occasion, secretary Rajat Singhal, Sandhya Singhal, Director Amit Kumar Bansal, Advisor BK Singh, Registrar Vishant Kumar, Sandeep Choudhary, PK Chaudhary, Prof. Puneet Garg, Deepak Agarwal, Madan Pal, and Sugam Gupta, etc. were present.
