The managing director of Flybig, Sanjay Mandavia shared his views on expectations from the union budget to be presented on February 1. He said that the Indian industry and the common man have great hopes for groundbreaking economic policies that will be announced by the Union Finance minister during the union budget 2022. “I applaud her foresight, tenacity and leadership in steering our economy through a difficult period brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic. Today, India requires an aspirational budget that would pave the way for rapid economic growth. I expect the Finance minister to offer a budget that includes big-picture measures aimed at long-term growth. In the medium term, I anticipate the Finance minister reining in inflation and commodity price increases, which will provide significant relief to the middle class. I also expect the administration to maintain its commitment to updating and upgrading the country’s infrastructure,” he said.
In the union budget, a blueprint for improving air and connectivity in the country must be given. Mandavia said he anticipates that the union budget would pave the way for accessible and affordable air connectivity for the general public in the country.
“Also, I would like the government to be devoted to economic structural reforms and the revitalisation of the services industry, particularly the aviation sector, which has a bright future. The union budget of 2022 should equip our economy with game-changing economic policies that will enhance productivity and help to raise the common man’s living standards,” he added.
