The Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are lying to the people and may even promise the sun and the moon to them. He said that the Congress is responsible for the partition of India and further dividing the nation. He said that while Jawaharlal Nehru gave a piece of India to China, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is giving a befitting reply to China. Chouhan expressed these views while addressing public gatherings in various constituencies of the state on Sunday.
Addressing public meetings in Lohaghat and Bajpur constituencies, the MP CM targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. “He opined that PM Modi has created two Indias whereas it is the Congress which was responsible for the partition of India. During Nehru’s term as the PM, China had occupied a part of India which Nehru had called a piece of barren land. I am proud that under PM Modi, when China made an incursion in Galwan, our soldiers pushed the Chinese soldiers back to their country,” said Chouhan. He said that the nation’s prestige in the international community has increased under PM Modi while comparing it to the nation’s standing in the global community when the Congress was in power.
Stating that the double-engine government of the BJP is ensuring development in Uttarakhand, he said that nine lakh farmers had received the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi. The dream of a train from Rishikesh to Karnprayag is nearing completion at a cost of more than Rs 16,000 crore even as road infrastructure is being expanded. Chouhan said that it is the BJP alone which runs on ideology and not dynastic system. It is for the people to choose between dynastic politics and development, he said. Chouhan said, “In Delhi the AAP government has not provided 400 jobs but is talking of providing one lakh jobs here and Rs 5,000 unemployment allowance. Kamal Nath was the CM of Madhya Pradesh for some days and had said they would provide unemployment allowance but provided nothing. Did the Congress government in Chhattisgarh and Punjab give unemployment allowance? The Congress and AAP have come to Uttarakhand to lie. If they have it their way, they will promise the people to place the sun and moon in their hands.”
The MP CM also spoke in detail about the development works done in Uttarakhand by the BJP government and the decisions taken by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the state’s development.
