Actor Praveen Kumar Sobti who was famous for playing ‘Bheem’ in a television series ‘Mahabharat’ has passed away due to heart attack at his residence on Monday. According to the sources, the actor had a chronic chest infection problem. The actor is survived by his wife, daughter, two younger brothers and a sister. Praveen had also represented the India in various athletic events including the Olympics, Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games and had won gold medals in hammer and discus throw. He further became popular when he featured in BR Chopra’s classic “Mahabharat” in 1988.
