With 39 recoveries on Tuesday the active case count reduces to 98

The state health department of Uttarakhand reported 12 new patients of the Covid-19 in the state on Tuesday. Death of no patient was reported in the state on the day. The authorities also declared 39 patients cured from the disease on the day. The department has so far detected 92,647 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year till date. A total of 88,026 patients have recovered from the disease so far in this year while 275 patients have died in the state since January 1 this year. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 96.09 per cent on Tuesday. The positivity rate of the disease was reported at 0.70 per cent on the day. The health department reported eight new patients from Dehradun, two from Nainital and one each from Haridwar and Pauri districts on Tuesday.
The number of active patients of Covid-19 in the state was at 98 Tuesday. Dehradun with 61 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Haridwar has 13 and Nainital 10 active cases of the disease. Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh now have no active cases of the disease. In the ongoing vaccination drive 17,702 people were vaccinated in 1062 sessions in the state held on Tuesday.
