Dhami vows to fulfil aspirations of Champawat electorate

Expressing gratitude to the electorate of Champawat for the landslide victory in the Assembly by-poll, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that he would try his best to fulfil their expectations. Immediately after securing victory Dhami addressed a public rally at Champawat market. The CM said that he is overwhelmed by the love and affection showered by the people of Champawat on him. He thanked the central leadership of the party for showing faith in him. Dhami said that he will take forward the development works initiated by former MLA Kailash Gehtodi. He said that all the issues concerning the Purna Devi temple would be solved, a rope way would be constructed for Hingla Devi and Champawat city would be developed as a smart city. He added that the campus of Soban Singh Jeena university would be opened in Champawat. Dhami reiterated his commitment to make Uttarakhand a leading state of the country by the year 2025 and said that the government would work in the sectors of health, education, horticulture, agriculture and tourism with total dedication. On a personal note, Dhami thanked Kailash Gehtodi and said that he vacated his seat for him and played an important role in his victory.
