On Tuesday afternoon people saw the body of a girl estimated to be about two-years old lying in the bushes with her throat slit in the SIIDCUL area. As soon as the information about the matter was received, the police also reached the spot and investigated. The police took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. At the same time, the police have got some important clues from the spot.
According to the information received from the SIIDCUL police station, at about 11:45 AM on Tuesday, the police got information that the body of a girl was lying on the roadside bushes in the Khala Tira area of SIIDCUL. The girl’s throat was slit with a sharp weapon. As soon as the information was received, the Haridwar senior superintendent of police Yogendra Singh rawat, SP (City) Swatantra Kumar, CO Sadar BS Chauhan and SHO SIIDCUL Santosh Kumar reached the spot along with the police force.
The SSP Yogendra Singh Rawat said that the girl has not been identified yet. The body has been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem. The police have started searching for the clues in this murder. Chauhan said that some people had seen a suspicious person roaming at the same place on Monday evening. Police are now trying to find that person. The police have got some clues in this case, which are being verified.
