Door to door contact most important part of outreach campaign: Bhatt
The Bharatiya Janata Party began its door to door contact campaign on Tuesday and announced rallies at the Lok Sabha level in the last phase of its Maha Jansampark Abhiyan. The BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt held a virtual meeting with party office bearers regarding preparations for this phase of the party’s outreach campaign. He also expressed satisfaction at all the programmes held so far as part of the campaign. Stating that this is the most important phase of the campaign, he stressed on the need for completing the door to door contact campaign with seriousness and efficacy. The focus laid by the party at the booth level should be visible through the NaMo app and the party’s Saral app, he said.
The party’s State general secretary (Organisation) Ajaey said that in the door to door contact campaign which began on Tuesday, efforts have to be made to ensure that publicity material sent to booths in 270 Mandals of the party reaches every voter. In addition to distributing publicity material related to achievements of the party, photographs and videos should be uploaded to Saral and NaMo apps along with getting all family members to give a missed call on 9090902024. Informing about the rallies to be held at the Lok Sabha level, he said that on June 27 the rally will be held in Tehri constituency, on June 28 in Pauri and Haridwar constituencies, on June 30 in Almora and Nainital constituencies. He also gave special instructions for the International Yoga Day, death anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and the anniversary of the imposition of emergency.
Meanwhile, the BJP Kisan Morcha took out a tractor rally in Dehradun as part of the Maha Jansampark Abhiyan on Tuesday.
