The cabinet minister of Delhi and the leader of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajendra Pal Gautam said BJP and Congress are two snakes in Uttarakhand that just bite people rather than working for their welfare. He stated this during his virtual address from Delhi on the third day of the Navnirman Samvad campaign of AAP in the state. He said that both the parties make big promises ahead of every assembly elections but do not even show their faces for the next five years after winning the elections. “Those MLAs who have never visited the public once in the past five years will now go to the doors of people in their constituencies to seek the votes with the same old fake promises. They have failed to develop the state in the past 21 years and continue to play with the sentiments of the public here,” stated the AAP leader. He also alleged that the parties have also ruined the education system across the country through the new national education policy (NEP) 2020 under which several government schools will be merged and the public will be forced to either send their children to expensive private schools or not to send their children school at all. “I appeal to people to sideline BJP and Congress which have similar deteriorating policies and choose better education, health and overall development by electing AAP this time,” added Gautam.
