In latest news from Uttarakhand, Boby Singh Dhami hailing from Katyani village of Pithoragarh district has been included in India’s national hockey team. His hockey coach Prakash Singh said that Boby had settled in Tanakpur in 2008 when he was eight years and he had played hockey in Tanakpur stadium for the first time in his life. Later he came to Dehradun to study in Maharana Pratap Sports College, Singh said. A number of sportspersons from Uttarakhand congratulated Boby on his inclusion in the national hockey team.
