CM pays obeisance at Reetha Sahib, announces motor bridge across Ladhiya river

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Jod Mela at Reetha Sahib Gurudwara in Champawat on Friday. The CM paid obeisance in the Gurudwara and announced that a motor bridge will be constructed across the Ladhiya river in Reetha Sahib. He said that the sacred teachings of Guru Nanak encourages brotherhood and harmony in the society and inspires everyone to lead a positive life.
The CM said that large numbers of devotees come every year to the Hemkund Sahib. He said that it is a matter of great happiness that a ropeway to Hemkund is being constructed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Once completed, the ropeway will make the Yatra easy. Dhami said that the old demand for Kartarpur Sahib corridor was fulfilled under the strong leadership of PM Modi. He said that PM Modi took the decision of observing ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ on December 26 to remember the supreme sacrifice of the sons of Guru Govind Singh.
Dhami said that the State government is moving ahead on its commitment to make Uttarakhand one of the leading States of the country. He expressed confidence that the people of the State would cooperate in this endeavour. Addressing the gathering the CM said that Champawat is surging ahead in every sector and the development in horticulture, education and construction of science city bear testimony for this. Dhami also heard the grievances of the people on the occasion and assured them that their problems would be addressed. Members of the community and Lohaghat MLA Khushal Singh Adhikari were also present on the occasion.
