Congress holds protest against unsavory comments of BJP leaders on RaGa

The Congress workers held vehement protests in all district headquarters of the State on Wednesday against the unsavory comments made by some BJP leaders against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. In Dehradun the Congress workers assembled at Astley hall and shouted slogans against BJP leaders. An effigy of the BJP government was also burnt on the occasion.
The president of the Mahanagar Congress Jaswinder Singh Gogi said that it has become a habit of the BJP leaders to make unsavory and derogatory comments about leader of opposition ( LoP) in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. He said that recently union minister Ravneet Bittu and UP minister Raghuraj Singh had termed Rahul Gandhi as a top terrorist. Now some other leaders of BJP are giving comments which threaten violence on Rahul Gandhi. Gogi added that rebel MLA of Shiv Sena Sanjay Gaekwad, who is a BJP supporter has promised to pay a sum of Rs 11 lakh to the person who will cut the tongue of Rahul Gandhi.
He said that the top BJP leadership has maintained a stoic silence on such heinous and derogatory comments of some of its leaders which shows that such statements are being given at their behest. Congress vice President Puran Singh Rawat, Manish Nagpal, Urmilla Thapa and others attended the protest.
