Covid-19 recovery mounts to 91.51% in U’khand

A total of 57542 patients of Covid-19 have so far recovered from the disease. Two deaths, 331 fresh cases reported on Monday.

The recovery rate from novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Uttarakhand climbed to 91.51 percent on Monday with an increased number of recovered patients and fewer fresh cases of the disease. On Monday the state health department reported 331 fresh cases of Covid-19 after which the tally from the disease mounted to 62881. The department also discharged 441 patients from different hospitals of the state following their recovery from the disease. A total of 57542 patients of Covid-19 have so far recovered from the disease. The state has a sample positivity rate of 6.03 percent. The authorities also reported the death of two patients of Covid-19 which increased the death toll from the disease to 1029 in the state.

The health department reported the death of one patient each from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh and Max hospital Dehradun. Out of the total 441 patients declared cured from Covid-19 on Monday, 98 were from Pauri, 96 from Dehradun, 39 from Pithoragarh, 36 from Chamoli, 35 from Nainital, 34 from Haridwar, 29 from Rudraprayag, 16 from Uttarkashi, 14 from Tehri, 10 Udham Singh Nagar and five from Almora district. 

The state health department reported 84 fresh cases of the disease from Dehradun district, 53 from Rudraprayag, 52 from Chamoli, 29 from Pauri, 19 each from Pithoragarh and Haridwar, 17 from Udham Singh Nagar, 16 from Nainital,  eight each from Almora and Uttarkashi, seven from Bageshwar and five from Champawat.

Uttarakhand now has 3802 active patients of the disease. Dehradun district with 741 active cases is at top of table while with 459 active cases Pauri district is on second position. Haridwar has 446, Nainital 394, Rudraprayag 293, Udham Singh Nagar 291, Tehri 276, Uttarkashi 213, Chamoli 201, Pithoragarh 183, Bageshwar 108 and Champawat 107 active cases of the disease. With 90 active cases of Covid-19, Almora is now at the bottom of the table.
