Cricket legend Bedi no more

The legendary cricketer and former Indian captain Bisan Singh Bedi passed away at the age of 77. This left- arm spinner played in 67 international matches as a member of the Indian team between 1967 and 1979. He during these matches took 266 wickets.  Also, he played in 10 on- day international matches. He led the Indian cricket team as the captain in 22 test matches. Under his captaincy, India won six matches, was beaten in 11 matches and five matches ended in draw. Likewise, he led the Indian team in four one- day matches. India won one and was beaten in the rest four. He was born in Amritsar on September 25 in 1946.
