DM directs officials to organize multipurpose camps at Nyaya Panchayat level

The Dehradun district magistrate Sonika has directed the officials concerned to organize multipurpose camps at the Nyaya Panchayat level every third Saturday across the district for the immediate redressal of the issues of the general public. She directed the officials concerned to make the locals aware of several government welfare programmes being run at the district and state levels to benefit them.
On the direction of the DM, the multipurpose camps will be conducted in Tyuni of Chakrata block on November 19, in Gadul of Doiwala block on December 17, in Sarona of Raipur block on January 21, in Bhagwantpur of Sahaspur on February 18 and Langha of Vikasnagar block on March 18. She has directed all the district-level officers to ensure the setting up of stalls of programmes and schemes associated with their respective departments in the respective gram panchayats on the stipulated dates of organizing the camps. The DM and chief development officer (CDO) will also participate virtually in these multipurpose camps to listen to and resolve the issues of the public. She said that the officials must aim in these camps to resolve the issues of people on the spot or as soon as possible.
The officials would also issue various necessary certificates during the camps which can be issued on the spot without locals having to approach government offices in their respective areas. She asked the officials to take all necessary steps to ensure the camps would be organized on time and conducted successfully to provide maximum benefit to respective locals.
