Gearing up for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Haldwani on December 30, the Nainital district magistrate (DM) Dhiraaj Singh Garbiyal and the senior superintendent of police (SSP) Pankaj Bhatt held an on-site inspection of MB Inter College ground on Wednesday where the PM is proposed to address a public gathering. The officials inspected the site on Wednesday and marked the spaces for the main stage, seating arrangements and parking.
Bhatt said that besides making proper security arrangements for the arrival of the PM, the police are also preparing a traffic plan to avoid any inconvenience to citizens. Besides the DM and SSP, the state general secretary of BJP Suresh Bhatt and municipal commissioner Pankaj Upadhyaya were also present during the inspection.
