A majestic deputy commandant’s parade was held at the Chetwode Drill Square of Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Tuesday during which 347 Indian and 80 Foreign Gentlemen Cadets marched in a perfect symphony of the academy band.
The deputy commandant’s parade is also called chief instructor’s parade as the parade is reviewed by the deputy commandant of the prestigious military training academy who also is the chief instructor of the academy.
The deputy commandant and chief instructor of the Indian Military Academy, Major General J S Nehra reviewed the spectacular parade. In his address, he complimented the Gentlemen Cadets of the Passing out Course for a good parade. Applauding the well turned out to parade, he said that the efforts of the faculty and the hard work of the GCs were quite evident from the crisp and coordinated movements. The chief instructor said that he was confident that the standards would further improve as the final Passing out Parade on December 8 approaches near.
He complimented the Gentlemen Cadets for the hard work put in and for having finally reached the threshold to a world filled with challenges and responsibilities.
