In latest news from Doon, a few days after the CBI questioned the veteran Congress leader and former minister Harak Singh Rawat, the ED has issued a notice to the embattled leader to appear before it Monday for questioning on the Pokhro Range (Jim Corbett National Park) irregularities.
Notably, the Vigilance lodged case in Haldwani sector regarding the Pakhro scam in 2022. A few senior officers were apprehended. After the CBI took charge of the case, the Vigilance handed over all the important documents kept in its custody to the premier national investigating agency.
