The school education department of the State will select two students from every block for its Bharat Darshan educational tour programme. The toppers of every block will be selected for the programme. The education minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the Bharat Darshan programme is one of the many measures the State government has taken for qualitative improvement in the education sector in the State.
The objective of the educational tour programme is to acquaint the students about the diversity, history and modern educational system of the country.
He said that 190 students will be selected from the high schools and inter colleges for the tour. The State government has released a sum of Rs 50 lakh for the five day long tour programme.
