Foggy conditions to resume today after a day’s respite
Dense fog warning issued for two plain districts

Foggy conditions are expected to resume in the plains of the State after partial relief in some areas on Sunday. The State meteorological centre has issued a yellow warning (watch) regarding the possibility of dense fog likely to occur at a few places in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar district during late night/morning hours on Monday. Further, moderate to dense fog is likely to occur in many parts of Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts during the late night and morning hours today. Apart from this, dry weather is likely to prevail in the State on Monday.
For the provisional State capital Dehradun, the meteorological centre has forecast a mainly clear sky today with mist likely to occur during the late night/morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 23 degrees Celsius and seven degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun on Monday.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Sunday were 22.6 degrees Celsius and 6.3 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 16.4 degrees Celsius and nine degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 11 degrees Celsius and 3.9 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 16.1 degrees Celsius and four degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
