Gadkari to attend Venkateshwara University’s 10th convocation

The founder chairman of Meerut-based Shri Venkateshwara University Sudhir Giri met the Union Minister of Road Transport and National Highways Nitin Gadkari at his official residence in New Delhi on Wednesday and invited him to attend the 10th convocation of the university slated on September 6. The pro-chancellor of the university Rajeev Tyagi said that the Union Minister had appreciated the efforts being made by it in the field of education and free health service for the poor, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic, over the past two and half decades and consented to attend the ensuing convocation.
Giri thanked the Union Minister for the newly constructed ‘Venkateshwara Overhead Bridge’ on the National Highway in front of the university and apprised him of the advanced courses on road safety management being run by the university.
