Govt announces a bonus for employees

The non-gazetted employees of the state will receive a bonus of up to Rs 7,000 maximum. As per the regulations, this bonus amount has been announced for the non-gazetted employees whose grade pay is up to Rs 4800. According to the government order signed by secretary Amit Singh Negi, these employees include state government employees, those employed in aided educational and technical education institutions, local bodies and district Panchayats.

Singh and Bisht retire from CS office

Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh gave a farewell to his media in-charge Virendra Singh and attendant Vir Singh Bisht on their retirement. The farewell function on their superannuation was held in the meeting hall of the chief secretary’s office at the secretariat on Wednesday. In his address, the chief secretary appreciated their dedicated work and wished them a happy and healthy life. Virendra Singh had been working as media in charge in the chief secretary’s office and was associated with the chief secretary for about 22 years. He has worked with the then Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh in 1996, Yogendra Narayan and other chief secretaries later on. Singh later served with all the chief secretaries in Uttarakhand.
