In latest news from Uttarakhand, Kumaun University‘s two-day inter-college football (men) competition is being organised at DSA ground in DSB Campus of the university. A total of seven teams participated in the competition. The first match was played between Haldwani and Khatima in which Haldwani won 4-0 while the second match was played between Rudrapur and Bajpur in which Rudrapur won 5-0. The third match was played between Ramnagar and Kashipur in which Ramnagar won 4-0. The first semi-final match of the competition was played between Nainital and Haldwani and the latter won in tie breaker. The second semi- was played between Rudrapur and Ramnagar in which Rudrapur won 2-0. The final match is slated between MBPG College, Haldwani and Sardar Bhagat Singh College, Rudrapur.
